Beyond The Laces is more than a children's book. It's a movement dedicated to Inspiring Children Through Kindness.

Bob Salomon, Rick Young, and James Crosby present a high energy, multi discipline assembly for both public and private schools. Through the message of Beyond The Laces, students experience the core values of kindness, respect, empathy, responsibility, and perseverance in a way that stays with them long after we leave. We also address bullying, showing how kindness can make a lasting difference.

Students get a behind the scenes look at the journey of writing Beyond The Laces and how one idea became a growing movement inspiring children, schools, families, and communities. We encourage students to use their creativity and their voice while showing them that kindness is the key to making a positive difference.

Our assemblies are often presented in elementary schools, with two assemblies and a special kindergarten visit. We typically divide the presentations into grades 1 and 2 and grades 3 through 5. We also enjoy presenting to middle schools, high schools, and even colleges, with each program tailored to the audience.

Filled with laughter, audience participation, inspiring stories, exciting giveaways, and meaningful life lessons, every assembly encourages literacy, builds character, and inspires students to choose kindness and make a positive difference.
